Yellow Eyed Grass is a charming perennial herb native to various regions in North America. This grass-like plant typically grows in clumps and reaches a height of 12 to 18 inches. Its narrow, arching leaves are grass-like, elongated, and a vibrant green, providing a lush backdrop for its distinctive flowers.
The plant is most notable for its stunning flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. The blossoms are usually star-shaped, featuring three petals that are a cheerful yellow at the center, transitioning to a lighter hue towards the tips. Each flower is approximately 1 to 2 inches wide and may attract various pollinators, including bees and butterflies.

    Natural Habitat: Native to the Pacific Northwest, found mostly near the coast in moist soil or on the edge of wetlands.
